There was a similar WSJ article that John Burns showed me when I was a sophomore that changed my mind to become a Philosophy major. The two most desirable liberal arts degrees that corporations had indicated on the survey were Philosophy/Econ, and English/Econ. My Philosophy degree has taken me further than I had ever anticipated.
